Reflections on the Maxims

Z:\images\From Daily Dig\apple_blossoms8.jpgThe following Maxims are taken from the writings of the founder of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Fr. Jean-Pierre Medaille, s.j. "Try, my dear sisters," Medaille says, "to observe the . . . Maxims which contain the spirit of your Little Institute."  He recommended that we "Read them often. Meditate on them frequently and when you have imbibed their meaning, reflect on the way you have already lived them and on how you can do so more fully in the future."
